DEVELOPMENT OF A DECORATIVE CONCRETE PAVEMENT WITH HIGH PERMEABILITY
DRY-PAVING project’s general objective is to develop a new permeable paving system with high capacity for rainwater infiltration and high mechanical resistance, which also has a new aesthetic finish and an air decontamination functionality. To achieve these, the project has worked on a series of specific technical objectives:
- Obtaining high-permeability concrete paving that allow the infiltration of high rainfall water flows, with good mechanical properties.
- Obtaining and functionalising ceramic pigments and particles that provide concrete with new decorative-functional aesthetic properties while granting greater resistance to the weather, and therefore durability of the finishes.
- Developing polymeric elements with mechanical properties that bear the loads to which they are going to be subjected, through the design of the structures and the addition of loads during the injection process (mechanical mixing).
- Architectural design of the new structures as a whole and development of the anchor between elements.
