DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL SENSORS BASED ON NANOSTRUCTURED MATERIALS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN BUILDING

The construction sector currently demands greater attention to the quality of life, both in construction field and in the habitability conditions of buildings. Therefore, it is necessary to respond to multiple needs such as the reduction of man-made and nature originated risks and achieving conditions of comfort, safety and health in built environments.

The objective of this project was to develop and integrate new multifunctional sensors based on nanostructured materials into homes in order to improve the habitability conditions (comfort, safety and health) inside buildings.
