MANAGEMENT AND TRANSMISSION OF SIGNALS PRODUCED BY NANOSENSORS

MANAGEMENT AND TRANSMISSION OF SIGNALS PRODUCED BY NANOSENSORS

The aim of this project is to develop a wireless system that captures, communicates and receives data for two specific applications: vine stocks and construction materials, using nanotechnology applied to sensors.

The critical parameters of the system to be developed are as follows: size of the sensor emitters/receivers; battery life; emitter/receiver price; wireless communication system; weather resistant system; anti-theft security system.

Currently there is a gap in the technological-commercial field related with the development of sensors based on nanotechnology that fulfil multiple purposes with a view to monitoring / measuring / inspecting service variables in buildings, such as: temperature, humidity, contamination / pollution, biological agents.

These advances would allow knowledge to be improved in the nano-antenna sector corresponding to the use of electromagnetic radiation as sensors / controllers in buildings. The aim is also to promote the use of nano-structured domotics systems in applications with a high socio-economic impact such as those related with the construction / architecture sector, allowing buildings to adapt to exterior environmental conditions or user needs.
