The urban intervention prioritizes open space over a linear block layout that fills the space by facing the row of low-density housing. This frees up a larger area of private and public land, favoring the expansion of the urban fabric of the surrounding area. Thus, the planned building is composed of two eight-story towers symmetrically located on the plot. The towers benefit from the shared interior open space, improving sunlight by increasing the amount of exterior facade each dwelling offers.
