Extension of the Larrea Sports Centre

The plot of the project houses both the schools, as well as the sports center and housing of the beadle. The building of the sports center in which the intervention is made, is an edificatory set executed in two different moments. The first corresponds to the building of the gym of the adjacent schools and the second, from the 80's, to the rest of the buildings attached to it, which are adapted to the unevenness of the plot.

Two of the original elements are maintained and rehabilitated: the double-height space of the gyms with a roof with inverted concrete beams with numerous skylights; and adjacent to it, the sports court that has a structure independent of the rest of the building covered by metal trusses. The other uses are located around these elements, maintaining mostly the same position as in the original building.
